LEPE
This peculiar setting with its small streets and homes surrounded by arable plots of land leaves no visitor indifferent. In 1680 it already had 23 inhabitants and 6 homes and it was known as Casas de Lo de Lepe. From the plaza de Leoncio Bento, to reach Lepe we only have to follow the GR-132 signs toward Hermigua.
Lepe is located on a coastal platform bathed in sea breeze and just a few metres from the coast. The sound of the waves breaking on Callao de Lepe is the only habitual sound and is very attractive to people who want to spend a few days away from the bustle of large cities.
Its beautiful location also provides magnificent vistas of the coast of the neighbouring municipality of Hermigua and the island of Tenerife and Teide.
