EL PESCANTE
The increase in export crops led to the construction of the Agulo davit in 1908. Three large pillars of 11.2 metres sustained a 56 metre Wood gangway that was used to load the fruit directly into the holds of ships.
18 years later they added a packing storehouse and a transporter or loading cableway. Steel cables held up by four metallic turrets were used to move the loading platforms from the storehouse to the davit. In April 1954 a sea storm uprooted the davit, putting an end to its activity.
