SERPA A MERIGA
The route starts at the Serpa hamlet next to the riverbed of the ravine. A small cement street leads to a path between agricultural terraces that in 300 metres connects with the Meriga road. It continues along the road until reaching the border of the national park and at a place known as La Cancela de Meriga we enter the forest to start the circular route around the dam.
After enjoying the enchanted atmosphere of the forest in Meriga, the route continues through a forest path toward the Los Aceviños hamlet. After three kilometres, the route leaves the forest at a marked crossing toward Agulo and Hermigua. This forest path descends along a battlement and a kilometre later arrives at another crossing that goes through the monteverde, returning to Serpa.
